Most world cultures acknowledge an archetype that represents death. Whether it be the grim reaper or the boatman, the figure that represents death is usually an ominous and often scary entity. During one very difficult time in my life, I sought out the counsel of a wise man and discovered how embracing the concept of death can actually help you live your life more fully. I hope that by sharing this knowledge your life will be more meaningful. Here is what I learned. There are volumes of books written about specific evidence that there is life beyond the gates of death. Religious or social beliefs, teachings, culture or tradition has not presented a concrete evidence of life after death. There are those who do not believe there is life beyond. Death is the end. These can only be subject to argument- they can neither be proved or disproved. I was a huge fan of the whole family and I also enjoyed Ricky Nelson's music in the 70's. I went to a Garden Party sings of his frustration that people didn't want to listen to his music, they only came to see the boyhood TV hero. Ricky died tragically, way too young as well, when a fire on board his plane caused it to go down. The FFA said it was caused by a faulty heater. You may need to get some old 8mm, 16mm or super 8 film converted into a digital form so you can add a clip of that to your funeral slideshow. But here's a hint: don't just go for the cheapest. Some converters don't even look at what they are doing with your priceless old film and the final result can be very dark, or very light, or it may have horrible ragged black edges. Flowers and plants can be a beautiful expression of how to remember the beauty that person brought to your life. So, choose your arrangement accordingly. But would the funeral director still have the money for my funeral arrangements when the time comes? This might be one question that could be troubling you and the answer is, yes. Funeral directors or any organization that offers funeral plans are liable to the law. They are required to have the fund ready should a client need to use his plan. That is why funeral directors will make sure that they have enough fund to fulfill their funeral responsibilities. So if you have fears of death why not check out what God's word has to say about it.
